Coffee Talks: Big News and a Farewell of Sorts

Sharing is caring!

This is my farewell to blogging. Housewife Hustle will never end, because it’s apart of who I am. However, my heart isn’t in blogging the same way anymore. I’m a writer, not a blogger. I explain more on the video, so please watch it.

I will still be on social media and run all of my same accounts. I’ll still be an author and continue to write books. I will also still be writing and sharing about body acceptance, self-love, sex, relationships, mental health, disabilities, and parenting. The difference is that I’m sharing on social accounts from here on out. I will also continue to share products that I love and work with companies.

The difference is that I’m done blogging about blogging. I’ve been watering myself down trying to be this cookie cutter professional blogger. I owe a lot to blogging, but I want more. I want to keep up with influencing, public speaking, and writing my damn books.

I love and appreciate everyone and everything when it comes to this journey, but this blog isn’t going to be active anymore. I will keep it up for the remaining 5 months that I have left on the subscription, but that’s just for others to have as a resource.

It’s time I say farewell to blogging and embrace this next chapter. The video really does explain more in depth.

Also, Eat the Damn Muffin will be free until midnight tonight- March, 23rd. Grab a copy, and get ready for more from me but in so many different ways.

-With so much love,

Jenn

  1. Do what you need to do my friend, your space on here is cherished. Sending big love and peace your way😊❤

    1. Thank you so very much!! Today is so emotional for me, but it feels like a huge weight is lifted!

      1. I can feel that for you my friend, for sure. We must always do what we feel guided to do and if this decision allows you to feel lighter than AMEN🙌❤

    1. I’ve been thinking about it for a few months, and it really feels like a weight has lifted.

  2. Also, I feel you on the blogging. My heart hasn’t been in it either. I’m hoping that will change but for now I’m sitting with it. I am focusing on becoming a Braille transcriber, writing my book and also our family t-shirt shop. Love to you. I love your IG account and will be sure to show you some love.

    1. Thanks so much! I want to do more with disabilities- specifically blindness. I can’t wait to finish my next book, because it’s about being blind and is a funny life guide for invisible disabilities.

  3. Totally understandable but definitely devastating news. I love reading your blog. I wish you all the very best and I look forward to reading what your up to on social media. You gotta do what’s best for you babe💜 sending you so much love!

    1. Thanks so much!! I love that we connected! I’ll still be doing posts about self-love and such, but it’ll just be in different formats. I’ll still be rooting for you and following your blog and journey!

  4. I will miss you, but understand you must do what’s best for you. I’m not the best at keeping up with social media, but I’ll drop in once in a while and offer as much support as I can. Best of luck, Jenni! You’re amazing and I hope you soar higher!

    1. Thank you so much. Connecting with you has been incredible. Your support has really been wonderful. Sending you love and continued support with your blog!!

  5. I love that I got the opportunity to find your blog and enjoy your content. You are an incredible content creator and you’ve helped me grow in so many ways! Whatever you do next, I’m sure it will be amazing! Thank you for everything! xx

    1. Thank you so incredibly much for all of your support and kindness. You can find me on socials still @Jennihustles

  6. I totally understand this. I can’t tell you how many times I have taken blogging breaks, or deleted a blog just to start a new one in six months. You have to do what feels right. If blogging is no longer inspiring, not just “fun,” (Because even things that are “fun” still have work attached to them) but actually feeding your soul, then you have to step back and sometimes yes break-up with it :p I will miss your weekly posts, but I am so happy to follow you on other platforms and to continue to get my weekly doses of your beautiful light and wisdom! So much love to you sweets! Hope you are staying well! <3

    1. Thank you for this. Your kind words and support always brighten my day. I’ve been going back and forth with this decision for months, and it really feels like a weight has lifted. I can’t wait for the next step!

  7. I will definitely miss seeing your blog posts, but at the same time, it doesn’t make sense doing something you’re not passionate about. I think I just followed you on social media, so I look forward to hearing more from you on social media!

  8. I am trying to like, but I can’t? Anyway, best wishes on all your adventures. I actually tagged you in my blog this week with a link to your book. Lots of love! xo

    1. Thank you so very much!!! I thought I commented on it, but the comments and links with my WordPress on my phone have been wonky. But thank you for all of your support!!

  9. I could relate to your reasons in some ways for another facet of my life.
You made this blogging space familiar with your posts on life, finding your niche, dealing with stuff.
    I will miss you.
I wish you all the best in your next projects and book. 🤗

  10. Good luck for the future. Especially with finishing your book. I am fairly new to blogging and have found all of your posts enjoyable, useful and informative. So thank you for sharing. Wishing you all the best.
